Abrol Solar Grid System



1. The installed array of PV Panels produces DC Power by gathering energy from sunlight and separating electrons to make a current.
2. This DC power is then sent to an inverter, which:
a. matches the exact alternating current and frequency of your building’s grid
b. and converts the Direct current of the panels to Alternating Current
3. The power that is converted is then transmitted to the nearest load
a. If the building consumes more than what the solar produces, the supplement is taken from the original source of power
b. No switches are necessary with this system. Power usage is done automatically.
c. Batteries not required
4. While the solar power is being consumed, the ABROL  meter will move less, as the energy requirement from the electric company is reduced during the day time.
5. Overall ABROL bill reads a lower demand/consumption – Power bill is therefore reduced.
6. Excess power produced by Solar and not consumed by grocery is sent out to ABROL and can be credited to the overall bill of the facility through the newly implemented Net-Metering process.


Salient Features of Solar Water Heating System, Solar Water heating systems turns cold water into hot water with the help of sun rays.

•Around 60 deg. – 80 deg. C temperatures can be attained by using FPC and ETC based systems depending on solar radiation, weather conditions and solar collector system efficiency.
•For attaining higher temperatures and production of steam parabolic concentrated type systems are used.
•Hot water for homes, hostels, hotels, hospitals, restaurants, dairies, industries etc.
•Can be installed on roof-tops, building terrace and open ground where there is no shading, south orientation of collectors and over-head tank above SWH system
•Hard/soft and potable water can be used
•Stainless Steel is used for small tanks whereas Mild Steel tanks with anti – corrosion coating inside are used for large tanks
•Solar water heaters (SWHs) of 100-300 litres capacity are suited for domestic application.
•Larger systems can be used in restaurants, guest houses, hotels, hospitals, industries etc.

Fuel Savings: Solar water heating systems reduce the use of fuels such as oil, electricity and coal. A Solar water heating system of capacity 100 litre can replace an electric geyser for residential use and saves 1500 units of electricity, 180 litres of furnace oil annually.
Environmental benefits : A SWH of 100 litre capacity can prevent emission of 1.5 tonnes of
carbon dioxide per year.
